In addition to our efforts to support sustainability in the coffee producing countries, we also are committed to support sustainability at our local and regional offices. In 2007, S&D created the LEAFS committee to handle these initiatives. LEAFS (Leading Environmental Awareness for Sustainability) mission is to be leaders of change in the environmental awareness at S&D Coffee, through education of our employees, our customers and our suppliers and by the implementation of key values for sustainability:
